Tip Of The Day?

My son called to ask if he could have friends over for dinner long story short the got pizza instead but I had already taken out extra chicken and floured it. I didn't know what to do with it so I called my mom, and she said

"while under running water pour salt on the chicken and rub it. The salt will scrub everything away, and then put it back in the freezer"

and it worked I know some of you already know this but it was new to me so i wanted to pass this tip on to the moms who didn't. Bump and add your own helpful tips. Enjoy!

  • Yea, we refreeze thawed food around here all the time. Like the others said only once though.

  • Yes the salt might work, but it's not supposed to be refrozen.

  • my mom said you can only thaw and re-freez it once apparently she has been doing it for years and me and all of my siblings (39-26) are all fine grand kids included
