How to Inexpensively Patch Inflatable Pool?

..i know this is ridiculous..but it's sort of something my 3 yr old and I are both attached to. The cap of the mushroom has fallen victim to, what I believe to be, an ill-tossed cigarette from the neighbors' yard or possibly even from mine, though I sort of doubt it. Either way, I really, really hope there's an inexpensive fix for the dime sized hole in it now.

  • Usually you can buy bicycle tube repair kits at the dollar store. They are easy to use, and work great.

  • Did the pool come with a little patch? They usually do. If not you can probably use duct tape!

  • if nothing else there is always duct tape. Duct tape fixes just about everything!

  • Duct tape would have been my first attempt at a fix. Its really a McGiver tool.

  • Ha! I was going to say Duct tape but it may take away some of the cute factor. But if it's a dime sized whole you don't have to put a very big piece though.

  • A "waterbed patch kit" from your local hardware store should cost between 3-5 dollars, and will contain a few of those stick-on patches.
