How i get daddy to be more responsible with meal time for baby?

my son is almost 8 mo old, and i have giving him jar foods since he was 5mo old. but my boyfriend works nights while i work day, so when he watches the baby while i work and while i'm doing house work he gives the baby more formula then jar foods. how do i get him to give the baby more jar foods?

  • Put up a schedule/ Maybe he just doesn't realize the ratio that you have the baby on.

  • He doesn't need the jar food. The formula is the most important.

  • you need to explain how you are feeding the child....yes formula is important but not all the calories need to come from it and the child needs to learn to eat solids.

  • he is aware of how i feed the baby. 2 stage 2 jars in one sitting. 1 jar veggies and1 jar fruit. since he sleeps during the day the bottle is quicker. he can make it, the baby holds his own bottle then they go back to sleep. it just makes me feel like its too much trouble to get up and give him jar foods.

  • Make up enough formula for while you're at work and take the can with you so he HAS to feed the jarred food.

  • Just feed him the jar food when you get home.

  • I agree make up enough bottles for the day, hide the formula and tell him to get off his butt and take care of the child can be lazy you need to lay down the law with him....

  • Hide the formula lol or tell him there is only enough for the feedings that require formula. He's just being lazy.
