Would you sign a petition to ban Conservative websites?

After hearing news the other day that the Obama administration had appointed a new position to monitor and push back against negative online press we thought some liberals in DC might think it wasn't enough. So we sent Joe Schoffstall out to see just how far liberals would go to silence conservative speech. Joe went around Georgetown in DC with a petition to "Ban Conservative Hate Sites".

  • I'm a liberal Democrat. I don't believe in banning anyone right to free speech no matter how asinine they sound.

    Vote down gear on.

  • "to see just how far liberals would go to silence conservative speech"

Do you honestly think there aren't people on both sides that would enjoy the opportunity to "silence" their opposition.

Free speech has to be for all, whether i agree with them or not.

  • No, and I wouldn't vote to ban liberal ones either. But I am sure a lot of liberals and/or progressives would in a heartbeat.

  • No, I wouldn't. Why in the world would anyone want to? What a boring country we'd live in if we only ever got hear one point of view.

  • No, even if they do spew hate, there is no reason to BAN anything. That is unconstitutional. Most people will not take them seriously anyway so they don't need to be banned.

  • My answer to your question would be no. The video is hilarious, and I get the impression that most of the people signing his "petition" really didn't understand what they were signing.
