Fuzz balls on cotton t-shirts

how do you prevent this from happening?? i know how to try and get them off of the clothes once it's already happened but it takes a lot of time that i just don't have. i use gain detergent and dryer sheets. what can i do to stop it? because it makes our clothes look old and dingy when they are pretty close to brand new

  • Get a clothes shaver and keep Velcro out of the wash. Make sure lint catch is cleaned regularly and look for lint catchers you can add to your wash, look like wire mesh balls. Other than that turn all your t shirts inside out before washing.

  • You need to seperate your clothes before washing. Did you put a bath towel in with you shirts?
I seperate my shirts, jeans and towels.
