I'm baking cupcakes for the first time ever and i need help.

now i'm not baking challenged. i make muffins, cakes, home made cookies. i've just never tried to bake cupcakes before. i've never had a reason. i've bought those cake pre mixes before but idk if they have the baking instructions on the back. don't have the mix yet. anyway i have a muffin/cupcake pan that makes 12 at a time. how long would i bake them for? how much mix goes in each section? like do you fill it up halfway or all the way? to they come out easily or do i need to buy liners so they don't stick? please help :)

  • You will need to set the oven on 350
Fill the cups 2/3 full and for best results use the liners or non stick cooking spray so they dont stick to the sides.

  • The liners make it easy to get them out, but I usually use non-stick pans and spray. About 2/3 full. 350, about 12-15 minutes or until pick comes out clean. - it depends on the oven temperature.

  • i use liners, they come out of the muffin pan really easy that way. spray the top of the pan with non stick spray, just in case a little batter sicks to the top. also fill them about 2/3 full, and bake at 350. be sure they are completely cool before you frost them. if you have a large amount to do for a party or something, you can bake them ahead of time and freeze them. then pull them out a day or two before the party and frost after they are thawed.
