Small birthday party for a 5 year old

I don't want to throw a huge party for my daughter and I only want to invite a few good friends. I'm trying to think of some places (besides bowling, pottery painting, Build a Bear or a movie) has anyone done something like this? If anyone has any other suggestions, it would be soooo helpful!! Thanks!

  • We had a small party for my five-year-old daughter at our home. Just five of her friends and their parents. If that is not an option, what about a restaurant. I am not sure where you live but we have a few pizza places that have enough space. Also, Fuddrucker's (hamburgers) is a favorite. For her next birthday, she is already considering the movie theatre or children's museum.

  • I'd do maybe a park or at home, I'd try and think of some fun things that she'd enjoy doing, maybe some games or crafts, or the pizza idea would be good, kids would enjoy that. But having a cookout at a park or something like that where the adults and kids could enjoy themselves. I'd also consider maybe some buffet places that have a seperate area for parties

  • bbq at a park or at your home. We do small b-days. Just a few friends and family. Kids always enjoy parties at the park where we cook hotdogs!
