Contacts online

I went online to order contacts, so many out there. Mine are a toric lens and 1800 contacts want 60 for 1 box, 1 I wanted to ask, anyone has tried another company they would recommend? Thanks for helping. If I order through my doctor, it is 70 for 1 box, per eye. So wanting to save money.

Oh yes, my eye insurance will not cover contacts because they see it as "cosmetic".

  • That actually sounds pretty much in line with everything I've seen. Probably not going to get a much better deal than that. You could try Sears Optical or Walmart, but like I said, they're probably going to be about the same.

  • I get the same contacts and my insurance sees it as cosmetic also. I ordered mine from Walmart, they are cheaper at times.

  • What brand are you using?I just googled toric contact lenses and the first site I clicked had Acuvue Oasis and Acuvue Advanced for 30 something. Could you try a different brand? They were around 40 dollars on 1800contacts site.

  • Walmart price is the same for my contacts, to answer heatherann0221 question, I wear a proclear toric. I have worn all the ones mentioned and these work best with my eyes. Walmart prices are the same. Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! Keep them coming. So far, no one has answered what online company they would recommend............
