Dinner Options

OK am hosting dinner Sunday evening this is what is planned(there will be 10 total 4 adults and 6 children)--

This is what we are having so don't try to suggest different things for the options

Option #1

Meatloaf

Scalloped or Au Graten Potatoes
Green Beans
Salad
Dinner Rolls
Homemade Cheesecake with fruit topping

Option #2


Meatloaf

Baked Potatoes
Broccoli--everyone likes broccoli so I know this is OK
Homemade Dinner Rolls
Salad
Homemade Cheesecake with fruit topping

Option #3


Meatloaf

Baked Beans
Mashed Potatoes and Gravy
Salad
Homemade Dinner Rolls
Homemade Cheesecake with fruit topping

Option #4


Meatloaf

Homemade Macaroni and Cheese--in place of a veggie
Homemade Dinner Rolls
Salad
Homemade Cheesecake with fruit topping

we will be having Ice Tea; kool aid for the kids and beer and wine coolers

  • 3. meat loaf and mashed potatoes just go together. i love dipping meat and dinner rolls in mashed potatoes

  • i like option 4. since there is more children then adults and i'm sure adults dont mind mac and cheese either.

  • I like option three since almost like my mom would make. That was meatloaf, baked pts and baked beans since could just cook in the oven all at once. I make the same meal but now add either cornbread or rolls or muffins with it.
