Docket numbers

I have a court case docket number I want to find out what the case is about where do I look?

  • Tuesday. Holiday Monday. Also, check google court docs

  • If your state has gone to e-docketing you might be able to look it up on line. Do you know which court it is in? If so, google that court and look for links to e-docs. If you can't find it that way you will have to go the court on Tuesday and do a search.

  • Go to that court's website, look for the public documents tab so you can enter the docket number and view the court filings regarding that case.
