last night we had some mixed frozen vegetables. you know the bag that has the green beans, corn, peas, and carrots and those carrots are cut into barely quarter inch cubes. well i fed some to my 10 month old, she chews so we don't puree anything. she eats real food. this morning her poop was loaded with corn, which i expected since the human body doesn't digest the corn shell, but there were the carrot pieces in there too. not digested at all. now i know science and stomach acid can pretty much break down anything. i was about to tell dh, i said "by the way you know how we had vegetables last night? well her poop..." "wait did you find carrots in her poop?" yeah, why?" "cause there were carrots in mine this morning".....so he didn't digest them either. i haven't pooped yet since i do every other day and today was a no poop day so i guess we'll see. neither has a digestion problem so i'm wondering, does the human body digest carrots? are they even real carrots in the frozen veggies?
