Go to the bookstore and start browsing through the cookbooks on the subjects that interest you - this is an excellent way to start learning. There will also be many beginner's guides that have step-by-step instructions & pictures to follow, as well. Half-Price Books, if you have one near you, is a great place to find cookbooks that are gently used or may even be brand new, at very good prices. Or you can look for books at a local 2nd hand bookstoare. And remember, it will take practice get really good at baking breads, pies, cookies & pastries, so don't give up if your first attempts aren't all you wanted them to be!
