  • Fix what's making the light go off, take your car to the shop to find out.

  • It depends on the particular car. Check the manual. Ours would go on if the gas cap was not on tight (you have to turn it until it clicks).

  • We have fixed it before and sometimes it goes off when nada is wrong.

  • A lot of times the computer has to be re-set at the shop. You can take it in and ask them what the "code error" that their diagnostic machine is and what it means and go from there.

  • go to autozone when it's on, they do a free check engine like check that will scan to tell you what's wrong.. it'll tell you wehre the problem is coming from and then you'll be able to take it in to get it fixed. prolly just a loose wire

  • go to a certified dealer and have them reset everything we had to have this done because our check engine light was on and our low tire light was on it is all electrical so only a certified person can reset it
