Which Spelling???

So we're having our second boy in August. Our oldest is named Jacob Wyatt, but we call him Wyatt.

We've picked the name Jackson/Jaxson for this little boy, but arent sure how we would like to spell it...

What do y'all think?

  • Jackson...using the x will only cause years of agony when you have to correct people when they spell it wrong and also, he will never find anything with his name on it if it's spelled with an x

  • Please don't saddle the kid with an x in his name that he doesn't need. I have a z and it screws people up constantly.

  • lol i'm pretty traditional, so I'm a fan of Jackson, DH is the one who suggested the alternate spelling. I've convinced myself hes insane anyway based on his taste in baby names :)

  • Jackson, I have an odd name, people can't spell it & can't say it.
I won't change my name but my kids have simple & common names.

  • Jackson to me says last name

Jaxson looks more like a first name.

Both are fine spellings and Jaxson is not that uncommon.
