  • I use oatmeal dog shampoo. Ours have dry skin and the oatmeal helps. It also smells good.

  • Kenic brand dog shampoo. Its not a good idea to use soaps and detergents. It dry's the skin and strips the coat of its natural oils. Dogs do not have pours like people do so it can take months for the coat to repair itself once you strip the oils. Its also not PH balanced. Always use a good dog shampoo and feed a good quality food and your dogs coat should be healthy. It'll also repel dirt more. A dry coat soaks up more dirt.

  • Wow, I thought I was the only one that washed my dogs with expensive soap Sarah!

If the fleas are really bad (I don't use poison) I start with a mix of Dawn, garlic powder, and teatree oil ... then a second shampoo and rinse with vinegar.
