Ot a lullabye (can't spell lullabye)

My husband thinks I am crazy bc I insist on singing my 4 mo. old to sleep withABCs. I told him it doesn't matter what I sing to her she will still be conforted by it and won't know I'm secretively teaching her the ABCs. What do yu guys think.

  • absolutely i have heard that they do learn even at the newborn age. congrats girl. way to start teaching ur child early!!!

  • Sing whatever you want. Your right it doesn't matter what you sing. Its just your voice she likes.

  • I agree. It's your voice that the baby loves. Sing Elvis songs if you want! Heartbreak Hotel ought to send your honey for a loop! I think I'll do that when our baby gets here... (My poor DH doesn't know anything about babies. I've told him all kinds of crazy things. I'm so mean!)

  • YES ITS NOT WHAT YOU SING ITS YOUR TONE IVE ALWAYS SUNG OLD COUNTRY SONGS BY KITTY WELLS AND PATSY CLINE TO ALL MY KIDS THEY LOVED IT I EVEN USED TO SING TO THE BABY I BABYSAT WHEN I WAS 14 LOL
