I don't have pam or unsalted butter. can i use vegetable oil to grease my muffin pan?

it's non stick but the very outside still always seems to come off. would vegetable oil work to grease it....CAN NOT GET TO THE STORE

  • yes but only lightly! :) I tend to put it on paper towel then wipe the pan down!!!!!

  • wipe it in with a paper towel. When i was growing up, we used crisco to grease everything!

  • I agree...put some on a paper towel and spread it lightly in the muffin pan. I've done it many times...I kept forgetting to buy Pam but my son loves muffins! LOL.

  • Yes, you can. Wipe on lightly with a paper towel.
