So besides

watergun fights what other things or ideas can I do with my kids outside. I live in an apartment complex so I really can't get a pool, but I so badly want to make their summer fun, and as exciting as I can. Thanks for any and all suggestions. O and I have a 2 year old almost 4 year old and almost 5 year old.

  • Walmart has large hard plastic pools with a sm slide attached for $30. I got my daughter one, take a look next time your there. Put art easle out there & do crafts. Soccer net & ball then play. Bball hoop kids plastic one adjustable.

What I would do is if you have some cash to spend on some things that are small & easy to move around I'd go take a look at walmart/target & see what they have. Perhaps a sm kids size tent or a single slide?

If money is tight then scavenger hunt? Catching bugs in nets? Bubbles?

  • Water balloon fights :) If your apartment complex is like mine you have some small grassy areas you could set up a badminton net. Set up a treasure hunt throughout the common areas of the complex?

  • try getting an outdoor sports set.. (they had a nice one at walmart, for $50.. it has a net, hockey sticks, balls for soccer and lacrosse. etc. I've very easy to take down and put up, so great for apartment living so long as there is a small area to run and play in. Also check out local playgrounds, or activities at different outdoors places, like putt putt, and things like that

  • Moon sand has been banned from my home. Sorta like play doh but made with sand and extremely messy! It's hard to clean up, so def an outside thing.
