  • 2 1/2 hours of moderate aerobic exercise a week are now being recommended. Plus you should get some resistance exercise (curls, leg lifts, etc) in and some stretches. An exercise class should help you learn about these. A balanced diet low in fat. Lean meat/poultry/ Fish. beans. Complex carbohydrates (whole grains, cereals, fruits, vegetables). Dairy. They are saying 5-9 servings of fruit and vegetables a day. Here is a site about nutrition:
