So the Chrystal lite commercials say that women who drink their product consume like 20% more water daily than those that don't. ... So does it count as water, or another source of hydration??

Yes, it counts. But, you are also getting that much more of some other chemicals such as artificial sweeteners. So, like anything moderation is key!!

Have you tried adding Lemons or Oranges to water, let it chill over night... that can help change the flavor.
