What are some things that you brought with you that you dont regret taking to the hospital for delivory?

  • My pillow from home. Yes, it was bulky, but I am SO glad I took it :)

  • Music. DH made me a Celtic music playlist on his iPod for birthing DD2 and before that a CD of Celtic music when I birthed DD1. Since I had no pain medication with either labor, that music helped me to relax and meditate.

  • My favorite houseslippers, chewing gum(my mouth always felt dry) and my most comfortable gown.

  • All of my reuglar toiletries, gowns, underwear, pads, clothes. It made me feel more human.

  • *My own pillow....the L&D floor never has enough to go around and sometimes you need 4 or 5 to really get comfortable if you are in bed which I try to avoid because the movement helps.

    *My laptop

    *Lotion and Lavender Oil for massage

    *My OWN shirt to wear during labor because I refuse to wear the uncomfotable hospital gowns.

    *Comfortable pjs to wear right after the shower I will be taking right after delivery.
