  • Obviously the expiration date is wrong. Throw it out, bacon should not be brown.

  • Ugh. Yeah, throw it out. Never trust an arbitrary date over the evidence in front of you.

  • If you have the time and live close to the store take it back to show them and get a fresh package.

  • There has to be a puncture in the package somewhere. Exposure to air is usually what makes bacon turn. I agree with taking it back to where you purchased it and getting a refund or a new package.

  • i wouldnt eat it....I work @ a grocery store & it happens every so often & when we see it we throw it away immediatly & there are times when a customer trys to buy it before we get to it & we ask them nicely to go back & get another one because its not safe to eat

  • Obviously the expiration date is wrong. Throw it out, bacon should not be brown. or if it smells then I would toss it out otherwise cook it up ASAP and taste it and if it taste bad then toss it
