How do you get grease out of?

pots and pans? my husband drains the meat greases into a pan of mine and I need to know how I can completely remove it so that the pans aren't slimy; I don't have any Dawn dishwashing liquid right now.

  • I've also heard that vinegar can work wonders on crease. Also cornstarch is supposed to absorb it up.

  • vinegar should cut it. Otherwise wipe down as much as possible and wash with what you do have.

  • vinegar and let them soak in HOT water..i heard u can freeze the pans but i never tried it

  • thanks I know my mom used vinegar for alot of things but didn't realize it would work on pots and pans. would it remove tomato stains from plastic wear too?

  • I've heard that Tide with water sitting over night will get any and everything off your pots and pans.
