  • Wow - I just went through a similar thing not even a week ago. I thought of this woman as a sister, been friends since age 11 - I'm 25 now and she's finally in a decent relationship after one train wreck after another which I understood since her husband up and left her with no warning signs at all but she began the relationship by cheating, she was still messing with the previous boyfriend when she began dating this one but then broke off things with the other guy and supposedly loves her current boyfriend (who I also knew back in school) but now she's lying to him about another ex hanging around her house so her boyfriend called me to vent and found out a lot of BS she told him about things I supposedly said and did and when he asked me "Do you think she's cheating on me?" I couldn't say no. I couldn't lie to him and say no she wouldn't cheat on you and she found out so apparently we're not friends anymore. Oh well.

  • i kept this girls secret for ever till i couldnt take her lying to him and making up excuses and trying to involve me in her schemes..well i told him and it all got turned around on me saying i cheated on my husband and everything. Well, she messed up telling me and my husband who she all cheated with so when i asked her in front of her bf what they were all about she swore on her kids life she never did anything with them therefore proving to my husband she is a hibitual liar, but she still caused problems and i will never be burdened with any other secrets again too much drama

  • Depends on what it was,, I would tell her the next time she fouls up don't tell you ,, because you will be forced to have it all come out!

  • i would stay her friend but be a distant friend, therefore, your not close enough to her for her to trust you with anything.

but no, i havent had anyone have me keep any secrets like that. i can only imagine how that affects your life too.

  • Ugh yes going through it now. My dhs best friend is cheating on his wife who happens to be my friend. Granted she and I only became friends a few months ago and my dh had told me about his best friend cheating long before that. I told him I just dont want to know because I dont want to be involved ya know? I dont want her asking me if I knew if she found out. My dh has gone as far as tell his best friend why doesnt he appreciate his wife and stick w/her. Nothing helps though. It is a real pain.
