Sharpie stains, any ideas???

OK, so lame. I got Sharpie on a bowl, because I was using it as a pattern to make a light disk for my son out of cardboard (don't ask...)

So, I am trying to get Sharpie off of ceramic? Non-glazed. They are my MOTHER IN LAW'S dishes.

Can somebody help a sister out here please? I can only hide this bowl for so long until she notices we only have 11 instead of 12...

  • Yep, I was going to say rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer. It's the only thing I've ever found to work well.
