Allergies..

OMG...I have NEVER had allegies so bad in my life. Now that I am pregnant, I can not stop sneezing and I have been dealing with a stuffy nose forever...I have been trying to just deal, but what can I take?? I don't think I can "deal" much longer LOL...I want to be able to BREATHE!!!

  • I am with you with on this one!!!! I have always had allergies but now that I am pregnant OMG mine are do bad!!! It never ends & i dont know what to do

  • It sucks because it makes me so misserable. I sat at a picnic today with a box of tissues LOL...It's terrible. Soooo annoying!!!

  • Actually, it might not be allergies, just pregnancy that is causing your symptoms to be worse. It even has a name--pregnancy rhinitis.

  • I took benadryl while pregnant with my Dr's permission. I have severe allergies and there was no way of not taking it. I tried all the other safer ones and they didn't work. I forgot what class benadryl is though now.

  • It is bad for me too... actually it is made worse by our mucous membranes... which is part of the pregnancy... depending on how far along you are there are options... sudafed... actifed... chlortrimton...benadryl...have been used for years and the newer ones are okay there is less evidence on them though...

  • Thanks Ladies!! Hopefully I'll be able to breathe soon! I know some women are sick with stuff like this the entrie pregnancy...hope that's not me!!! :)

  • I have to take Zyrtec year-round and my doctor said it's also safe while pregnant.

  • I would try a humidifier and saline drops first Then ask your dr for safe recommendations.
