How much do you spend a week on groceries?

I think I spend $150 for 3 people.

  • Ummm, lol. IDK, we buy generic snacks like crackers and cookies (it all tastes the same), we buy generic apple juice for the kids, generic cereal. I can't go generic on some things though...mac and cheese is one of those things. We buy ingredients for cheap dinners like chili, spaghetti, homemade chicken noodle soup, meatloaf, etc. Lots of bread for sandwhiches.

  • We spend $150 every two weeks for three of us. We dont go every week anymore because its too hard with both the kids.

  • We spend $70-$100 every week for three people. I would LOVE to know how people do it cheaper. I've tried and tried. Going generic, eating less meat.

  • I try to stay under $100 for family of 4. It's harder with prices being higher now. I am trying to coupon more and buying in bulk when it's cheaper so that it will eventually cut down my costs/week
