What would be a simple, inexpensive potluck dish to take to a family BBQ for my daughter's soccer team?

  • An Italian pasta/veggie salad
1 lb. of spiral or elbow or (you pick) macaroni-boiled -drained and chilled(run cold water over it)
1 Head of Cauliflower--Broken into pieces
    1 bunch of Broccoli-cut up
1 lb Cheddar cheese -cut into small pieces
Toss all together and add 1 bottle of Italian Salad dressing and serve.

If you use the colored spiral noodles it just looks fancier. Also add salt and pepper to taste.

  • Potato Salad
    Baked beans
    Baked Ziti
    Fruit Salad
    Pot of Spaghetti
And if all else fails I have been known to stop and pick up several $5 little Caesar pizzas lmao.

  • When I have to make a dish for a lot of people and I need it to be inexpensive, I usually make one of my favorite Italian dishes. Like a baked ziti, lasagna, or a spaghetti and meat sauce dish; with some garlic breads. MMM, ha ha. It's easy to make, cheap, and goes a long way.

  • Snicker apple salad - a few granny smith apples diced up, a few snicker bars diced up, a tub of cool whip, and caramel sauce stirred in.

Pasta salad -(the way I do it) tri color rotini, Italian dressing, diced tomatoes, onion, green pepper, and olives.

Both make a LOT for the price.
