When we redid all the bedroom on the top floor, coincidentally, there ended up being a small cubby hole on one side of the bedroom. he thought that was a perfect-meant-to-be spot for a huge dresser.
1) it just doesnt look good even if it did fit.
2)the dresser would of looked too tucked away and not displaying the dresser to see.
He also likes to push things againest the walls so i guess, you'd have lots of space in the middle and everything is lined up againest the wall.
He doesnt understand the meaning of a clawfoot bathtub, his mind is glued on a jacuzzi bathtub.
He thinks bigger is better no matter what it is.

I'm lucky, mine has a good eye and a talent for construction. Together we have made some really nice modifications to our homes over the years.
