  • Surely he is mistaken when he says that you cannot borrow your way out of debt. I mean, our all-knowing, ever-expanding government says you have to spend money to make money, right?

Never mind common sense, I don't know that government is willing to do what is necessary to get out of financial trouble.  They don't know how to and won't accept having to live on 'rice and beans, and beans & rice'.

  • They aren't going to listen to anyone with common sense, that would be against EVERYTHING they stand for...

Exactly! And they won't do without ANYTHING but they obviously will have NO problem letting us do without. Their ridiculous spending habits have us in serious trouble and they just keep spending. WE have to pay Obama's tab and it just can't get big enough for this admin...

  • Making the hard decisions will cost votes. We need people in Washington that are more concerned with the country than buying votes.

  • My checkbook and my vote are ready for any of them willing to fall on the sword. Somebody has to do it..the only question is who will be man enough? Or will it take a bunch of women?

  • I love Dave , but no I do not think they will listen to anyone because as Carpy said it is all about votes! Obama wants to keep using Air Force 1 and traving the world before he is voted out!

  • Where are our friends on the left? Where are their comments? Surely this isn't a partisan issue. Surely we will all benefit (or hurt) from the government's actions on the economy. This transcends BOTH sides.

Some of them will say the only way out is to tax the evil rich people even more, they aren't paying their fair share.

*Sigh* they won't believe that the rich can't fix this even taxed at 100%.

  • On he contrary Lori, you and your friends are only interested in voting your friends up .

Forty up votes , - you are all aying much the same thing - and no down votes . So you cannot accuse us of lurking and downvoting, Can you ?
