  • All four of those for $1? No, definitely not. I remember gas being 99 cents a gallon.

  • I do remember getting gas for $1 a gallon. I started driving right as it was breaking that point.

  • Candy bars were a quarter, I definately remember that! My mom gave us a quarter every day sometimes I would buy a pack of gum. Wow, those were the days.

  • I'm only 27. My siblings and I would go to the store when I was in like the 2nd and 3rd grade and the chips, soda, and pie were all 25 cents and we would get 3 five cent pieces of gum.

  • We used to get 50 cents for our admission into the movie and a bag of popcorn and a drink.
