Sundresses

Are sundresses appropiate for work?(i wrk at a bank)
I just bought the cutest sundress. It's spagetti stripe dress but i was going to wear an undershirts with it and I have a thin little sweater that i was going to wear. Its hot as molasses in dc already(92 already and its only 12:30) and I am about tired of wearing slacks lol

  • No, not appropriate for work, and especially not at a bank where the dress is even more conservative.

  • You could do it IF you wore it with a jacket and it wasn't worn too low AND if the length was "standard" (around the knees). Sorry, banks are pretty conservative!

  • They was talking about tank tops and flip flops on the news this morning, as long as you have a sweater or jacket over it's fine, and the flip flops needs to be changed once you get to work. You work in a bank and like law firms they are very conservative and i wouldn't chance it

  • Check with your manager. Dress codes vary.

  • I would check with the manager. They way you are describing you would wear it, it sounds like it may work, but I would double check on that.
