  • The draperies or liners that you use are visible from outside. If your windows are suitable for shutters there is an idea. Potted flowers beside the door.

  • Do you have any bushes? They may help. Also a cute spring or summer flag could help. My mom got a cute birdbath from Kmart that helped her yard. Any of these things will help. And flowers are great!

  • Shrubs, nice mailbox. Lawn 'ornaments' like a flag or two. Potted flowers, hanging baskets. Change out the color of your shutters and door. Walk the neighborhood and see what you like and adapt that for your lawn.

  • I would do a google image search for front yards with the same house style as yours and see what pops up. You may be inspired by something there.

  • You can have nice decorative doors. You could add a nice patio or some shutters. You could also put nice drapes in your windows. Another way to dress it up inexpensively is to add some nice solar lights along your driveway or walkway.

  • Shrubs or small trees. Maybe a fresh coat of paint.

  • Specimen trees - those that flower or whose leaves change color in the fall. Garden sculpture. Be sure to stay in the guidelines of your neighborhood if there are any CCRs.
