What's going on while you're not looking...

Did you know there's a bill before congress trying to give broad overreaching censorship powers to the government?  That it's written by people who don't have the first frigging clue about how the internet works?  That it's related to the same law where they illegally seized non-criminal websites and labelled them as child porn sites for a week before they fixed their mistake without apologizing or compensating the victims for damages done to their company websites during that week?

Ever wonder why we need China to take over when so many are trying to hard to turn us into them all on our own?

  • Scary scary thing. And so many are oblivious to what is really going on. I pray for all of our sakes that this does not pass.

  • The adm is no doubt wanting to censor the internet. They promote net neutrality as ameans of "fixing" what isn't broken and this just adds fuel to the fire. It is all about CONTROL.

  • The people in the gov't (the czars and advisors) who want this crap understand with the people in the Dark Ages understood which is that knowledge is power. They didn't want people learning to read back then because the people could then read the Bible and realize the church had been corrupted by the thirst for power and the people had been lied to. The people trying their best to take over this country are trying with all their best sneakiness to make it so we can't find out the subtle truths. If they can keep us uninformed, they can grab more and more power. We have to stay diligent.

  • Yes, a sense of control, similar to religion- The powers that be have figured out to intimidate, shame and control the masses- give them something to fear and then swoop in and offer their particular redeeming and saving solution.

  • The problem is, we have allowed it to happen. No matter what your views are, we have allowed them to make laws to "protect" us. I said years ago when people were cheering for smoking bans and mandatory immunizations that people think it's a good thing, but we give them an inch and they will keep on taking. Now it's something that isn't harmless, but they put it in front of us as protecting us and there will be people that are behind them 100%. You may think you want clean air without smoke and your kids not to get diseases, but it's the theory behind it. They start with the "bad guy" and move right on through. It's time we stop this communism.

  • Blame it on the "if it doesn't affect me who cares mentality." Personally I am sick of it. People have no clue what they have lost or what they are losing.

I am wondering if I should start a company that manufactures tin foil hats...it seems like we really DO need them...kwim.

  • It's not in the MSM so the general public could care less. They are far more interested in who is dancing this week or getting tossed from one reality show or another ... nevermind that the reality they live and breathe in is going down for the third time.

Seriously, it really IS time to make every person pass a test before they are allowed to vote. The crap we have running the show has got to GO!
