Formal/Evening gown

My SIL is getting married in May down in Palm Beach. The wedding is VERY dressy and they have requested that woman wear formal/evening gowns... I have no idea where to even start looking. Any Ideas? I looked at Nordstrom and Macys... but nothing I liked. any suggestions on where to look.

  • You can probably get good deals if you go to JcPenny after or during prom season. I got my dd a nice evening gown there for her graduation which was also requesting evening gowns. I got it half price.

  • Wait until dresses for Prom come out. Penneys, Macys, Dillards all have nice choices. Also keep an eye out at resale shops. Formals are often worn once. Many women take them to resalew or consignment shops to recoup a bit on the cost. Remember when you choose the weather will likely be very warm and humid
