Indoor activities

Since school is out, I find it very hard to keep my dd from getting bored. I hate the heat so we do not spend much time outdoors. What creative things can we do indoors? I have a 2 yr old too.

  • crafts! color, paint, paper mache, learn how to make paper, etc. =) bake.. what kid doesn't like to help in the kitchen? rearrange her bedroom and let her help! let her go swimming in the bathtub... I guess it all depends on the age.

  • Those are some good ideas! And if you live near museums, check to see when they have free days. Most of them have one afternoon a week with free admission (great way to get out of the house and still stay cool.)
