How do you know when a plant has become established?

I planted some Celosia Monday, and the ticket says to water 2-3 times a week until established. When is that? How can I tell?

  • I want to say once the true leaves form. After the cotyledon phase...................................................................







    I think it is when the first true leaves form. Not the cotyledon which are the two leaves that form after the seed sprouts.







    I believe it is after the cotyledon phase and the true leaves form. Whenever you plant something from seed, two little leaves sprout from the seedling. A
