Vacume perfume

I heard if you spray your vacume cleaner bag with your favorite perfume the house will have that odor.
Dos anyone do this?
Are we talking about dousing it or a light spritz?

  • I would just spritz it lightly where the air vents out. I have an Electrolux & I put a dryer softener sheet where the filter goes & it lightly scents the room. You could also just suck up a dryer sheet in the bag & it will scent the room too or spray a paper towel with your perfume & suck it up so if you don't like it or it's too overwhelming, just take it out of the bag.

  • I never heard that. I know they have those carpet powders and beads you suck up.
I would go with a spritz at first. Easier to add more than take it off.

  • powders are bad for carpets dont use those! When I had a vacuum with a bag I use to put dryer sheets in the bag and around the bag.
