  • Yes but she drives me crazy at the same time. She's a little over the top about wanting to be involved in every little detail of our lives and feels hurt when I maintain some boundaries.

  • Yes and no, my mother had a stroke a few years ago and she has issues with her feelings, sometimes she says really rude and hurtful things. I understand she has issues but because of this we do get along just not as well as we once did.

  • Always! Me and my momma are REALLY close. We see each other almost everyday and get along well. We were not that close when I was growing up but we are now which is all that matters.

  • Well we have had our issues...but we get along great. She knows how to be my best friend...but at the same time my mother.

  • NO, I have much more respect from my MIL then my mom. My mom doesn't know what freaking boundries are until I have to put her in her place, even though I have outlined what is acceptable a million times (usually common sense) which isn't fun. My MIL is very involved with my boys but realizes that I am still their mom and she doesn't try to overstep....I think I hit the lottery with her!

  • I did before she died in 1990. Now that I am raising a daughter, I love and appreciate my Mom all the more. I feel her come through me as I teach my daughter.
