Question about early pregnancy...

I'm 5.5 months pregnant and I have lost my appetite, I feel "off", and I have been having stomach aches and diarrhea, I feel like I can barely eat. Is this normal?

  • You could have a mild stomach bug...but don't take anything to lightly if you are feeling "OFF" as you say. I would definitely talk to your doctor and let him/her know whats going on! Hope you feel better!

  • It sounds like a bug to me. I had no appetite during my second pregnancy, but no stomach aches or diarrhea. Diarrhea, especially, usually indicates some kind of virus. There's likely not anything they can do about it, but I'd let your doctor know anyway.

  • Doctor's, their nurses or midwives are here for your help. If you don't feel right (which may be a bug or all in your mind) Then talk to one of them, most are there all day long to help. Trust me, i called mine if my fart smelled worse than normal <--a joke-- but yeah.. Lol. Good luck, i hope all is well for you.
    God bless.

  • Probably a virus. Stay hydrated by drinking pedialyte. Right now while you feel icky and even when you feel great, stay hydrated!

  • Yes, stomach aches & diarrhea are not part of the normal side effects. Loss of appetite might be. Talk to your doc/midwife.
