If someone lent you a car for say a week or two...

What would you do to it before you returned it? This is not a rental but a loan from a friend or relative.

  • yeah you'd think. But my MIL just borrowed mine for about a month, filled it with gas but didn't run it through the car wash. Last year my cousin did the same thing as well as a colleague of my husbands. It blows me away. I wouldn't dream of returning a car someone had loaned me without washing it.
    I was beginning to think that I was wrong to think that's just common manners.

  • We borrowed my MIL's car for 2 weeks. We cleaned it, vacuumed it, armor-alled it, waxed it and filled it up.
