Black or espresso furniture for a baby?

DH and I are trying to decide what finish of furniture to get for our babies nursery. So, what do you think Black or Espresso?

  • I would choose the espresso to go with blue and the black to go with pink.

  • I guess Espresso but I have off white & love it a lot. I like light & bright for a babies room. More cheery.

  • Depending on the colors of the room and bedding, I've seen some very nice nurseries with dark furniture. I personally wouldn't do black furniture, but espresso. Why don't you look up some websites or catalogs to see how they have decorated a nursery with dark color furniture. It'll give you an idea of what it might look like. :)

  • I have crib bedding picked out for whatever furniture we decide on lol. If we go with black it will either be black/white/lavender for a girl or blue/black/white for a boy. If we do espresso it will either be green/cream/brown monkey or pink/brown/sage ladybug

  • i really like cherry wood but espresso would b my nxt choice..we got a great deal on a bran new crib for 60 its even convertable!!!! and its white lol but for a deal like that how awesome! Good luck with your furniture picking!
