How to get rid of a wart on your face

My son has a wart on his cheek. I took him to the doctor and she said it was nothing to worry about and would go away on its own. She was right, it did, but its come back now. He messes with it all the time, so it gets red and is very noticeable. It bothers him, obviously.
I bought some Freeze Away wart remover today, but when I got home I realized its not for use on the face and could cause burning.
Any other suggestions?
