im currently looking stuff up about it but does anyone know a percentage of how often the membrane sweeping is successful at sending a women in labor?

  • I did some googling found that its a 50% success rate and it will only work if your cervix is ready. I had it done when I was 38wks and 2 days later my water broke. GL

  • I have known of women who had there membranes striped and it moved labor along faster. she was way over due.. and should have been induced 4 weeks before she was.. but that is another story.. to answer your question it can help
