If you wear your baby would you buy this sling?

I've never worn my baby before, but I am hoping to start. Is this a good sling?

  • Those are really cute! I see people here wearing them all the time. I used the more backpack/harness styling though.

  • Really cute!! I is kind of like the one I make and sell.... but mine has a french seam that is a bit more durable... check out my site... it's still kind of under construction... but you'll have an idea....

  • Oh yes! I carried my baby in something almost exactly like that and will be doing it again! I loved it so much! I used the Sprout Pouch. Looks like a good sling to me!

  • I wore both my first babies and will wear my third but I'm interested in a carrier that's like a cross between a wrap and a sling. It's called my baby nest.

  • No, I prefer a sling that has an adjustable ring. For a newborn, I prefer a moby style wrap.

  • I have worn my baby since the day we took him home. We don't have a vehicle and I don't believe in strollers, so ours gets used all the time.

The one thing I have to say about that style is try it before you buy it. It doesn't fit all body types or baby types.

I use a 6 yard long piece of thermal knit fabric I think it is 32 in wide and use Moby wrap instructions. No sew, and really cheap plus I get to pick from thousands of fabrics.

I also have a playtex hip hammock that I love. My baby is now 9 months old.

I have used a loop sling, and it didn't fit right, and a baby borjn that hurt my back terrible and was hard to get my son in and out of.  I hope this helps.

  • It looks very nice any may very well work for you. I however use a ring-sling because it's adjustable and I feel more comfortable with my baby being nice and snug up against me.
