What is the hardest part of rewarding/praising good behavior?

  • I don't find it hard at all. See the good and respond in a positive way - it's pretty easy to do, imho.

  • I think its easy. I have always done it and stay away from giving any attention for negative behavior. They get time out and no spanking for negative behavior so they know they wont get attention for it. Positive reinforcement is easy. I keep a box of goodies and anytime they are good they get to pick a reward from the box. They also get $1 a day for being good at school. If they have a bad day they lose or dont earn that $1.

  • well, I was thinking the hardest part would be getting them to do something without a reward or praise after being used to getting a reward or praise.....
