What is your favorite fall and winter comfort food?

With the chilly weather here, what are your favorite things to eat?

I, personally go into a carb coma for 3 month, esp when I'm pregnant.
I love making grilled cheese sandwiches made out of an olive bread baguette and asiago cheese and pairing it with homemade creamy tomatoe basil soup.
Love chicken and dumplings and chicken pot pies.
Lasgna and french bread
French toast with a banana rum sauce.
Drinking homemade hot cocoa by the fire.

Needless to say, by the time spring comes, I'm ready to clean up my diet. LOL!

1/2 lb sliced bacon (cook and remove from pan)
4 large onions (slice, cook in bacon grease or cooking spray)
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup vinegar

    1 can green limas
    1 can butter beans
    1 can pork and beans
    1 can kidney beans

Drain all beans except pork and beans. Mix with bacon and onions, add vinegar and brown sugar.

Bake in 2 quart casserole at 325F for 1 hour or in crockpot all day or overnight.
