Can young children have gallbladder problems?

My 2 1/2 year old son just threw up, but for about an hour or so before he threw up he was reaching towards his back/ribs. It came and went, came and went.....
I had my gallbladder removed a few years back and how he was acting was simular with what I went through. As soon as he threw up he's been fine and that's what I used to do as well.
So is it possible?.....

  • I have not heard of problems that early, but I am no doctor either, I would say as a mother, sometimes we are over protective and it may just be tummy flu, but if he is anything like my 2 year old he should be able to answer basic questions, see if you can find out if he has a boo boo. He may have just eaten something bad. Watch and see if he continually has problems throwing up
