Is there a game you know of that a gamer dad can teach his 6y.o son?

DH is into MMO's, but that's too complicated for son. And am looking for a game that they would both enjoy..

  • what kind of game are you looking for? we play boardgames with our four year old. but we also have a nes, sega and a gameboy. we play all kinds of games with her, wheel of fortune, mario 1 and 3, she plays 2, we also play sonic and they play games on word or bingo is one she likes too. so it all depends on the game system you have and if you want board games. good luck.

  • Wizard101!!!!!! It's designed for kids between 6 and 600. There are parental controls so your son WON'T see the chatting. There are controls so he can ONLY say preprogrammed things. I play it and LOVE it. The beginning part is free to play. But to play other areas you can either buy the areas with the in-game currency (crowns) that you buy with your own money, or you can get a monthly subscription that you pay for annually. Bah, all the information is on the website.
