  • My ds never wanted one, my older dd was 3. She left it out for Santa to take. My younger dd was 3 also, she left hers out for the Easter Bunny. Both the girls were only allowed to have it for bed and long trips past the age of 18 months, or if they were sick.

  • I gave the paci to my son when he was about 3 mos I believe. He basically just spitted it out or play withe handle. He didn't really care for it so I stopped giving it to him after 3 wks.

  • My dd stopped using one completely when she was 2 years 8 months. She was only getting it at night or when she was hurt or sick at that point, however, it started leaving a mark around her mouth. At that point, she just had to stop using it and we went cold turkey. It made for a challenging week going to sleep but she was fine and didn't switch to her thumb for comfort.
